Costa Rica, for the great outdoors

Costa Rica, for the great outdoors

Magnificent seashores stretching out along the Caribbean and Pacific Ocean. Costa Rica is extremely well known for it’s world class beaches, along with being home to multiple volcanoes. There are currently 6 active volcanoes, with another 61 laying dormant. Arenal has been the most active in the past 50 years but right now it’s inactive due to a resting phase since 2010. Although it’s in a resting phase, it’s still one of the country’s most popular and well visited volcanoes, in saying that though there are so many other volcanoes definitely worth visiting. And for all you wildlife lovers, this is a dream destination, you will be glad to know that approximately a quarter of it’s area is protected jungle, filled with beautiful wildlife like quetzal birds and spider monkeys. At Manuel Antonio National park you can go diving and snorkelling, wizz though tree tops on a zipwire and see sloths and monkeys from horseback!
