Beauty’s Urban Dictionary: Strobing

Beauty’s Urban Dictionary: Strobing

Myself being (nearly) in my mid twenties, I’m sure a lot of people my age and a little older will agree that we can sometimes feel a little “out of touch” with some of the latest fads, trends and even the terms used to describe them LOL! Here is an urban dictionary for all the latest beauty buzzwords you need to know that will even have your little sister wondering how “you” know so much.

Strobing is contouring’s new glowing best friend. It’s all about highlighting areas of the face where the sun naturally hits, so dotting illuminating products along cheekbones, brow bone, down your nose and forehead is the key to achieve this young dewy, glowing look. I prefer a powder highlighter instead of a liquid as sometimes liquid can drag your foundation and give a tide mark affect on your face (Not a good look!)

Tip: Apply some highlighter to your cupids bow for an irresistible pout.

Suggested product: Estee Lauder “Heat Wave” or MAC ”Dazzlelight” €16.50 http://www.brownthomas.com/eyeshadows/eye-shadow/invt/77x1832xm250
